Calendar of Events
Every January 1 we cut a large hole through the ice of the Wisconsin River in front of Rusty's. Come high noon anyone bold enough or foolish enough to jump in is welcome. Feel free to join us. There is no cost to jump. Souvenir/hats or T-shirts are available to purchase. The Polar Bear swim has grown from a small group of fourteen jumpers and one hundred spectators in 1992 to 150 "bears" and 1500 spectators this last year.
Sunday Funday Bingo!
When Old Man Winter is a knockin, come to Rusty's where we'll be rockin! The bingo cards that is. Come enjoy a Bloody Mary and some of Rusty's Famous food on the 1st Sunday of the month. Most fun of all, play some bingo with Shorty and win some great prizes!

The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businsesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping, diving, or even crawling into the sparkling, frigid waters of the Wisconsin River at Rusty's Backwater Saloon.
"Big Boy" Kitty Kat Ice Racing
The snow brings Kitty Kat ice racing enthusiasts to Rusty's to watch the Big Boys on the "big" sleds battle it out on a 1/3 mile ice oval.
Lawn Mower Races
Throughout the year come check out these lawnmowers "mow" down the competition. Events are held every season.
Canoes & Brews
Saturday April 24th 2010
The last Saturday of April Rusty's host the Canoes and Brews Canoe run, down the wild and mighty Mill Creek. Make sure your "brews" stay in the canoe over the rough waters! Enjoy a brat and a refill your brews at the halfway point. Always a great time, rain or shine!
Backwater Bash

The first Saturday of May brings bands and brews for some Springtime fun at Rusty's Backwater Saloon. Take a break from studying those books and let loose under the tent at Rusty's Annual Backwater Bash. Music, beer and good times are plentiful at the Bash!
